Running from treetop to treetop, seeking out fresh sounds and musical frontiers, this south-west trio brings a laid-back collage of relaxed grooves, deep lyrics, and sweet melodies  Sometimes reminiscent of Mazzy Star, sometimes bringing the pace up to a Russian slap dance, their earthy roots always show through.  Branching out into dub and ragga, sliding through a grove of acoustic grooves, their influences range from Ben Harper, to Fat Freddy’s Drop, to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan!  Environmental saviours come apocalyptic harbingers, the Treetop Refugees are much obliged to provide a cosy soundscape for you.
